This notice describes how Easy Comfort Food handles information. We update it when the services used by the site change.

Information you provide

The site has no account registration, newsletter subscription, comment form, checkout or contact form. It does not ask you to submit your name or email address.

Email correspondence

If you email us, you provide your address and the information included in your message. We use this information to review and respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information. Email is handled through the email providers used by you and by us.

Recipe tools and browser storage

We store your analytics choice in your browser for up to 180 days. Google Analytics may set first-party _ga cookies lasting up to 180 days when analytics is enabled. Recipe filters appear in the page URL. Ingredient checkmarks and measurement choices are held in the current page and are not sent to us by these controls. Your browser may preserve page state or addresses in its own history.

Fonts and page delivery

Typography is loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to retrieve font files, which exposes connection information such as your IP address and request details. See Google Fonts privacy information. The public website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Social sharing

Sharing buttons are ordinary links, rather than embedded social tracking widgets. Selecting Facebook, Pinterest or WhatsApp opens the chosen service with the recipe address and, where relevant, its title and image address. That service handles your visit under its own privacy policy. Copy link uses your browser clipboard. More opens your device's sharing options when supported.

Advertising and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, referral sources, approximate location and engagement. Google processes connection and device information and cookie identifiers to provide these reports. We disable Google signals and ad personalization and do not send names, email addresses or account identifiers. Page addresses and referrers sent by our tag omit query strings and fragments. Regional analytics choices

For visitors identified by Cloudflare as being in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, analytics stays off until allowed. If location cannot be determined, we also ask first. Elsewhere, analytics starts automatically unless you have rejected it or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Use Privacy choices in the footer to allow or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting stops future measurement and removes our Analytics cookies; it does not erase information already received by Google. Region checks use our own Cloudflare endpoint without storing your country in the browser.
